I like James Altucher’s article on coming up with 10 ideas a day.  (http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2015/01/faq-on-how-to-become-an-idea-machine/ ).  It expands your mind, your creativity, your imagination.   Read the article and then start making your lists.  Remember these do not have to be perfect of even real.  Just ten ideas.

In keeping with his ten ideas a day, below are ten ideas to help the draught problem in California.

  1. All properties will be required or allowed to have rain barrels or water towers(if the property is large enough)
  2. Instead of building an oil pipeline from Canada to the US, we build a water pipeline from the east coast & states that are flooded and have severe snow to the draught areas of the west.
  3. All showers will be controlled by a computer chip that sets the water at the exact temperature of each user’s preference.
  4. All showers will drain into a system that recycles the water to gardens and lawns.
  5. All showers will be timed.
  6. No dangerous or toxic chemicals will be used in dishwashers or washing machines to that the water can again be recycled to gardens and lawns.
  7. The DWP will repair all street leaks or water fountain leaks immediately – anytime day or night.
  8. All Fracking will cease.
  9. All toilets will use air suction instead of water – water will only be used for cleaning
  10. Ice will no longer be sold at stores and will not be used to keep picnic coolers or tailgate tubs cold – instead reusable icepacks will be used.

The last one took some thinking but I got there and if we all keep at it, we can come up with all kinds of creative ideas.  Send me your ideas – let me know what you come up with.
