I am a writer and aspiring to be a novelist. I want people to get to know me and my work.
This site is about:
1. Writing – Because it is so much a part of my life.
2. Work – because most of us have to do it and it is so much a part of our lives. ,
3. Creativity – because it should be part of everyone’s life.
4. Short stories – I hope you like
5. Book reviews, Televsion and a bit on Love (I am after all a romantic).
Hopefully, you will get to know me through my writing and my website, but here is a little more about me.
I always saw writing as a hobby, a distraction I did with my gal pals when work was slow. One day, with the urging of one of my gal pals, I submitted a piece to a local paper that I had written during our slow time in the office. The piece was published and I was hooked.
Eventually, people began to give me money to write. I have written newsletters, articles, and collateral pieces – and I got paid. I was given money to write. I stress the paid because only after I got paid could I feel comfortable calling myself a writer, after all I live in Los Angeles and this town is full of wanna-be writers, actors and directors. I work full time for a company and I write part time as my side hustle.
I decided to tackle a novel because I have an over active imagination.
I believe in love, I admire Dean Koontz and John Grisham. I am married and I want you to know I had to wade through several frogs to find my Prince.
I am flawed as are my characters. I want to be mature and forgiving. I want to be the sort of person that can see an ex at a party and speak to them kindly; I want to forgive those who have caused me hurt in my personal and corporate life, I want to turn the other cheek (and not because I’m in a fight and avoiding someone’s swing).
Right now I can’t, I am not mature enough or grown up enough, I am not built that way – but I am trying. I am as flawed as the characters I write about and the situations I write about are not ideal – but life isn’t always ideal either. I want happy endings.
I could go on and give you a whole twenty pages on me, but I think that is enough for now, my work should speak for itself.
I hope you learn from, laugh at and enjoy my site.
